Programs

Navigation Program

Our flagship Navigation Program begins with a one-on-one session between you and an Alliance Navigator. That session typically lasts between 45 – 60 minutes, and allows us to talk through where you are on your business journey, your short- and long-term business goals, and any feedback about programs you’ve already gone through and/or capital providers you’ve already worked with. At the end of the session, we collaboratively identify potential next steps to get you closer to your goals.

After your initial session, we will create a Resource Roadmap for you, and send out any warm introductions that you request. We’re available for regular check-ins to help you track your progress and assess any new resource needs you might be facing.

Rapid Response Navigation

The purpose of Rapid Response Navigation is to demystify the COVID-related or general crisis-related resources available to entrepreneurs and organizations, provide research support, and assist with applications as needed. We will still provide you with a Resource Roadmap after your initial intake session, similar to General Navigation. The resources we recommend are to support your business and personal needs. When relevant, we also make referrals to address housing, food, and child care.

You can consider the Alliance’s Navigators a research team that will help you save time and energy during crisis periods.

Good Money Guide

The Good Money Guide was created to help entrepreneurs like you find the right capital to support your business. The guide features a list of local community funders, clarifies the features of different types of funding, and offers expert tips for seeking capital.

Buying Guides

As part of our commitment to drive support for local businesses in every way we can, Alliance began creating buying guides in 2021. These annual guides are meant to highlight, celebrate, and support the incredible small businesses that keep our communities vibrant.
