Why We Gather

Part of the Alliance’s approach to ecosystem work is in-person and virtual connection. The Alliance hosts over 300 participants in a variety of convenings each year, ranging from social gatherings to business development support workshops to community ask-and-give forums. 

 

We believe deeply in collaboration, which is why our events are often hosted in partnership with other organizations within the Bay Area business ecosystem. We work with local vendors and our own clients as much as possible for our events, especially where there’s food involved!

Annual Conference

At each Bay Area Capital Connections conference (BACC), we connect key stakeholders in our entrepreneurship ecosystem (investors, trainers, mentors, and decision-makers), diverse entrepreneurs, and community leaders from all over the Bay Area. With approximately 200 attendees, powerful featured entrepreneur speakers, influential keynote speakers, and interactive breakout sessions, we convene the Bay Area entrepreneurship ecosystem and increase access to all sources of capital (financial, social, human, intellectual and cultural) for all Bay Area entrepreneurs. Each year, we are focused on generating values-aligned business opportunities for all.
