Oakland Black Business Fund
Oakland Black Business Fund is reimagining a system of capital deployment to create possibilities for Black economic growth that defy the confines of systemic racism.
The fund targets Black owned brick and mortar businesses as the foundation for economic activity and the future of the Black economy. Our two-pronged approach includes a $10M non-profit relief fund focused on helping local businesses impacted by COVID-19 and recent protests, and a $1B for-profit investment fund to support Black entrepreneurs across the country. Oakland Black Business Fund was created in partnership with Oakstop Alliance, The Alliance for Community Development, The City of Oakland, Black Cultural Zone, Association of Black Business and Arts Organizations, and The Town Experience. |
